The Simple Woman's Daybook November 29th

For Today, November 29th, 2010

Outside my Window.. a thin layer of white fluffy snow! Its super pretty

I am thinking.. What an amazing Thanksgiving day and Holiday weekend my family and I had, even thou my husband had to work alot, we made it work..thats life!

I am thankful.. for a cozy warm home, after seeing the tents that the homeless live in here its something ppl take for granted!

I am wearing, pink top, black pants.

I am remembering.. the hard work my children showed as we helped feed the homeless on Saturday.

In the learning room.. We had a great week! We took our time and learned the history of Thanksgiving. We stayed with the theme for each subject and created a Thanksgiving poster.. which the children are very proud of!

I am going... home for Christmas with my family!

I am currently reading... Soo many books, a chapter or two here or there. Not many pages were read, what a busy week we had

I am hoping.. our week goes smoothly with hopes of doing some organizing and jumping back into school after our holiday weekend

On my Mind.. How much I am blessed with!!!!!!!! I am a sinner saved and I dont deserve a thing!

Noticing that... christmas is around the corner! I have presents to wrap, yay

Pondering these words..."Old-fashioned, Spirit-filled, Christ-honoring, sin-hating, soul-winning, Bible preaching! It is the hope of the church! It is the hope of the nation! It is the hope of the world!" —Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001)

From the kitchen... lets see, our menu... guacamole burgers on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is turkey soup, Thursday is sloppy joes..Friday is Momma's night off! ;) oh and I will have a small cooking lesson with the kids= peppermint fudge!

Around the house.. Fall decor OUT, Christmas IN! Organizing boots, gloves, hats.. gathering bags of clothes, clearing thru toys for donations.

One of my favorite things..
Christmas tree lit and pine candles lit too!
