The Simple Womens Daybook October 17th

For today..October 17th

Outside my window..
59 degree, cloudy day.

I am thinking..
Its amazing my 5 year old daughter is napping ;0
I am thankful..
For my children..their amazing! for my husband who never fails to show his love for me..for the Bible, page after page God speaks to me.

I am wearing..
Comfy black pants and shirt
I am remembering..
How much I laughed last night with my friend..

In the learning room..
We have a new, bigger dry erase board, yay! We love our board..We write our weekly scripture that we are memorizing on top, the date, spelling words, everyones chores and lesson plan for the day~it keeps me on task! ;-) Now with a bigger board I can draw and teach at a bigger scale.. i love tweaking our learning room!
I am going..
To the park this afternoon, weather is perfect, not too hot or cold..a hoodie will do, bring a stack of books for me to read. <3

I am currently reading..
JOB in the living Bible..really speaks to me
"Lessons at blackberry inn"..such a sweet read and so different, makes me crave my old country life, want to can and bake all day! ;-)
& "the lies women believe and the truth that sets them free" an amazing eye opening book that every women needs to read..just finished the lies about marriage and now onto children...an intresting lie I peaked at was how it is not up to us on how big or small our family is!
I am hoping..
To book a pedi with my girlfriend..never had one!

On my mind..
my hubby, and how much I want to apply all that I have learned about being the wife God wants me to be! ..less complaining, more praying for him..trusting God all the way, submitting..

Noticing that..
I need to vacumn..I seriously vacumn every day! doesnt seem normal lol

Pondering these words..
Romans 14:22 says "So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God." your convictions may and most of the time are not someone elses, so do not perscute someone for their choices weather it be halloween, vaccines, public or homeschooling, the list goes on!!

From the Kitchen...
We will be baking an oreo cheese cake later! mmm

Around the house..
I was sick, not really sick but fighting something hard and was very sleepy all week. So we had a very laid back week.. it was pretty cozy! lessons on the couch and alot of reading..sipping warm echinacea tea. At the end of the week, my 3 children recieved a frostie as an award for chores and being good to their momma!

mmmm! love my heart? it was gift from my dear cousin and friend!

Reading <3

Vanilla frosting oh my!

One of my favorite things..
Watching my youngest put together a puzzle...its so sweet! And the highlight of each week has been sports club on mondays.  It is too funny, especially the younger group!

3-5 year olds, tball..super cute!

Thanks for sharing Romans 14:22. I am going to have to study this passage.

Love the heart-shaped tea strainer!

Aw, I really enjoy reading your simple womens day book entries. I am not sure how to go about doing it as well, but I might fall behind anyway! Haha! Keep up the great work on your blog!
