These recipes are from taste of home. The buttermilk pancakes are fluffy and super yummy...a big hit here at our home!
Ingredients
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
4 eggs
4 cups buttermilk
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and baking powder. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and buttermilk until blended; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a lightly greased hot griddle; turn when bubbles form on top. Cook until second side is golden brown. Yield: 2-1/2 dozen.
CIDER SYRUP
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup apple cider or juice
2 tablespoons butter, cubed
1 tablespoon lemon juice
for syrup, in a small saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in cider until smooth. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until thickened and bubbly, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low; cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Stir in butter and lemon juice. Serve with pancakes

Amanda the syrup can def be stored in the fridge, all the ingrediants wont spoil easy, makes 1-1/4 cups syrup. lmk if you like it!
