By the time Friday rolled around I was more then ready for my husband to get home, who has been away all week working. The kids sure do keep me busy with schooling and house work but I cannot help the constant ache of missing my husband! He was home by evening with orange roses and a kiss for me, energy, big hugs so tight that their feet lifted off the floor for the kids! Our wknd began! We waited for him to come to start dinner, grilled hotdogs, mm!
Saturday we planned on bowling, but there was a long wait, boo. Saving to go again next week.. We did try a new place for lunch and found out that guacmole does need to be on a burger! ;) and bannana shakes do beat a chocolate shake ;) It really doesnt matter what we are doing, if we are all together its the best moments of my life.
Afterwards we went to Kohls so i could try on tennis shoes..been wearing only flip flops anytime the weather is warm for years..but i love long walks and flip flops arent the best provider of support for your feet and knees! Finally after trying every brand, every style...wow there are alot now!! I finally found a cute, yay..didnt think it was possible, cute and support in a tennis shoe..but I did! And what better way to test the new shoe then a long walk. Sunday we went to the park, played basketball~HORSE & lost to jon, darn! ;) We found a new trail on our way back which lead us in a big-big circle and the wind picked up..Finally home..tired but refreshed! Ofcourse wanting Monday to take its time.. Thank you Lord for our sweet weekends...thank you, thank you :)
