Here is some info on the challenge, from Women Living Well..
Each week the challenge will be the same - to praise, encourage, inspire, admire, build up, thank and appreciate your husband. But each week I will give you different ways to express your praise. Feel free to tweak it for what you think is best for your husband.
Week 1 starts TODAY! Look for ways to praise your husband verbally. Praise him in front of the kids, friends, family, co-workers, on facebook, tweet it - get praise out anyway you can! Try to mention something noteworthy he has done - in his role as provider, father, husband, lover, or friend. If the thought of trying to come up with one terrifies you, then pray right now that God will give you new eyes to see your husband as God does. Then open your mouth and say something kind and uplifting to your husband today and tomorrow and the next day until Valentine's Day arrives!
My first attempt to praise him I went straight to my facebook..posted this as a status,
Love flows through a marriage that lives up to mutual responsibility “Love is not self seeking, it’s not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong.” ~My hubby has been so good to me while I have been sick, he may not be an expert @ cleaning or cooking but his effort and desire to help me is better then a maid or chef! Thank you Lord for my husband, help me to be patient and to never take him for granted.
Looking forward to praising him each moment I can, infront of our children, out in public, or when its just us two! <3 <3
I love him and all the little things he does for me..
let me count a few ways:
He brings me my favorite candy whenever he goes to the store, rasinets!
Always makes sure my truck has gas!
He is good to my family!
He never forgets to show me how much he loves me, even if I am in a grumpy mood!
He lets me steal a pillow!
& never raises his voice to me!
Ahh that felt great to list a few reasons why I am love him so..
Gives me a fire to really start praising him!
"Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do. It's the way you love your partner every day."
