Menu for the week of Jan 17th





I love planning a menu for the week, it saves me alot of time at the grocery store and during the week. I like to plan my menu using alot of the same ingrediants, it saves me from wasting veggies! Another trick of mine is if I know on Wednesday I will be out in the afternoon, I plan an easier dinner for that night. I really do not like take out during the week so it helps to have a few easier meals in the home, just in case!

{Breakfast is usually fruit, cereal/oatmeal}

Monday
Lunch: breakfast rollups, sliced apples
Dinner: Cheeseburger soup, slice of bread
Peppermint icecream for dessert!

Tuesday
Lunch: toasted turkey sandwiches, mandarin oranges
Dinner: Taco night!

Wednesday
Lunch: English muffin pizza's, carrots & homemade buttermilk ranch
Dinner: Nathan hotdogs, homemade coleslaw, fruit with cottage cheese

Thursday
Lunch: eggs in a basket {toast with a sunnyside egg}and bannanas
Dinner: tortilla soup, chips with guacamole

Any suggestions for Friday??

Mmm yummy. I also, make a weekly dinner menu! It helps a lot not to have to scramble around and figure out something. One less thing to have to worry about...sounds like you've got some great ideas...I will prob steal some of these ideas for our menu some night! :)
